Production: Team must adhere to 'On Location' etiquette, take a film pass, capture the shots needed for their product and re-filming as needed for quality.

Post-Production: Team must copy all files from the card to your iMac - the good shots, the bad shots - everything - each in a new daily folder. Directions are posted at your iMac work station.

Use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit -- this software requires proper file management. See Kuhn for help editing.

Unit 2: Pre-Production: Writing for TV and Film

Finish the unit on TV Jobs by studying the Quizlet flashcards and taking the test either on your phone OR on a PC by yourself.

Take this opportunity to look around and join a new team if you want - Or stay with your same team from our TV Jobs unit. No more than 5 to a team.  Each day when you come to class, sit with your  team. Learn everyone's name.

New Unit:  Pre-Production...
1st: Pick up your own individual Pre-Production work sheets - these will help you with the vocabulary, ideas for a video product, planning out the scenes, and writing a Treatment, a Script, and drawing a Storyboard.

Your first video is a Promotional - an Advertisement for a product that your group creates. Think of a product that any student at Wheeler could use. It can be funny but must be school / workplace appropriate. Though you can use props like a drink or a shoe, you can't steal a brand that is already out there like Nike or Gatorade. Let your sense of humor and performance skills shine. See Kuhn for any questions.
