WCTV Workshop: It's Pitch Day :)
The "pitch" is where you try to sell your idea for a skit to the class by describing it to them in person.
The more positive reaction we get when someone reads their idea, the more we know that's a great idea to try.
Please be respectful and listen to everyone that pitches their ideas equally. Their great idea could be YOUR excellent grade on this project.
Let's Talk Logistics: Remember - This is for a VIDEO. We HAVE to be able to film it and have it look decent production-wise.
If you can't provide answers to the following, you may want to re-think your plan.
1. CAN WE FILM IT AT SCHOOL?
2. What costumes will be needed?
3. Are people in class willing to act it out with the confidence & swagger required for a great skit?
4. It is TV-G? We have middle schoolers watching.
5. Does it make sense?
6. Does it connect with the Wheeler community? Or is it too random a joke for a lot of Wheeler students to understand?

Nov 29th WCTV Workshop: Treatment Assignment
All good "Wildcat TV" Skits need to start somewhere - that place is a Treatment. Each student in our class is assigned to write their idea for their class's opening WCTV Skit. You may hand write or type this Treatment. Include all these elements to earn the best grade:
1) 3 Paragraphs minimum:
The first paragraph describes the characters, setting and situation - where your story begins
The second paragraph describes the middle part - maybe the conflict of the story
The third paragraph describes the resolution or the ending the of story
2) The story must be able to filmed on campus and utilize the setting and props we have here at school
3) The story can be an original OR a remake or include a shout out to an existing TV show, movie scene, or internet video that many people can connect with
4) Keep it TV-G and classy - no bathroom humor, sexuality, beat-downs, or language that would otherwise be censored.
Reminder - this is an individual grade. Do not steal others ideas - Turn in your own work. DUE WEDNESDAY Nov 30th.
